All 106 short films are nominated officially for the festival’s film competition and will be judged in various categories by an international jury of experts. The jury consists of:

Wisam Aljafari

The Cannes winner, born in the Dheisheh refugee camp near Bethlehem, studied film at Dar Alkalima University. In his work, he focuses primarily on sound engineering, directing and cinematography.

Sorin Dorian Dragoi

Four times awarded with the German Camera Prize, lives and works in Munich and Paris. Since the beginning of the 1990s he has dedicated himself to film in the fields of cinematography, production and directing.

Amin Hamikhah 

Honored as Cinematographer Magazine’s Editor of the Year, lives and works in Tehran. He is a lecturer and writer in film theory and also works as a film critic.

Arianna Lodeserto

A multiple awarded in editing and directing, studied philosophy and media archaeology. She self-produces experimental documentaries and won the Young Italian Authors award at the Venice International Film Festival 2019.
